REMOTE SENSING represents a technology for massive collection of geospatial data through systems that are not in direct physical contact with the examined phenomenon or object (sensors on the aircraft, satellite). Remote sensing is used for the preparation of ortho-photo plans and maps based on satellite images generated in a certain area, where the data is collected efficiently with a transparent overview of the continent's exploration area. It is used for the purpose of spatial planning, roads and railway, power lines, gas pipelines, development of geo-information systems for geological, geophysical, environmental and various other research.
